SpeakOne — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 18 September 2026

SpeakOne is a simple speak‑and‑translate app: you speak or paste text, and it translates and reads it aloud in the language you choose. This policy explains exactly what happens to your data. In short — SpeakOne has no accounts, shows no ads, and its developer collects and stores no personal information about you.

The one‑line summary: Your speech and text are used only to perform the translation you asked for, in the moment you ask for it. Nothing is saved on any server we run — we don't operate one.

What SpeakOne accesses on your device

SpeakOne does not access your contacts, photos, location, or any other personal data.

How translation and speech work

Depending on the language you pick and your setting in Settings → Translation & voice source, a translation or spoken result is produced in one of these ways:

SpeakOne does not attach your name, account, device identifier, or any advertising identifier to these requests, and it does not use them for tracking or advertising.

What is stored, and where

Data retention & deletion

Because we store no personal data, there is nothing for us to delete. To remove everything SpeakOne keeps locally, delete the app from your device. Text sent to Google Cloud or Microsoft Azure is handled under their retention policies (linked below).

Third‑party processors

Children

SpeakOne is rated 4+ and is safe for all ages. It does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
